A very warm welcome to my website which will be exclusively dedicated to wildlife images from around the world and particularly here in Great Britain and Europe.
I hope you enjoy looking at these images as much as I enjoyed taking them.
My name is Howard Birley, I am an enthusiastic photographer who loves wildlife and the countryside. I also have a passion to travel to new places especially for wildlife.
Please note that none of the images that appear on these pages have been taken at so called wildlife centres, zoos, falconry centres etc. All of the animals and birds depicted are truly wild have the ability to fly away or leave the scene of their own accord.
I do not believe that images taken at the above places are wildlife pictures and I have no enthusiasm to photograph and depict them as such.
