Baboons are primates comprising the genus Papio, one of the 23 genera of Old World monkeys, in the family Cercopithecidae.
There are six species of Baboon: Hamadryas Baboon, Guinea Baboon, Olive Baboon, Yellow Baboon, Kinda Baboon and the Chacma Baboon.
Howler Monkeys are the most widespread primate genus in the Neotropics and are among the largest of the platyrrhines along with the Muriquis, Spider Monkeys and Woolly Monkeys. The Howlers are native to South and Central American forests. Howler Monkeys calls are the loudest of all land mammals. Their calls reach up to 140 decibels. This sound is as loud as a jet engine taking off and can travel up to 3 miles through dense rainforests.
